L.I.O.N.S. Awards

Every Friday we will recognize students that have demonstrated the traits of the Lion Pride! Students will receive a certificate and their photo on the wall in our lobby.

Cold Weather Clothing

We have now entered our cold weather season!

Please be sure to send your child to school wearing appropriate clothing for the weather. When it is cold outside students need coats, hats and gloves/mittens.

If it snows, please make sure that your child brings snow pants and boots to school. Students that do not have snow pants and boots at school will not be allowed to play in the snow at recess.

When it is 14 degrees or below with the wind chill we stay inside for recess.

At arrival, students will be outside until 8:37 a.m. If it is 14 degrees or below with the wind chill students will be brought inside beginning at 8:30 a.m.

If you need assistance with cold weather clothing, please reach out to your child’s teacher.

After School Clubs

The District will be offering after school clubs at Stenson for 1st through 5th graders in a winter session and spring session. Each student may participate in a free club. If you would like your child to participate, please register through the park district. Click here to read the flyer. Please note that registration begins at noon on December 12th.
